“During my time at ISSD, I had the blessing Alhamdullilah of learning from the best teachers. We had small classes where we were given the opportunity to try new things. Innovation came in joining the Inventors Showcase and the annual science fair, 8th grade camping which was a blast with Ms. Hanan , math marathons and morning stories will always have a special place in my heart. I was able to learn advanced math and science, but also build a solid Islamic foundation and Arabic skills from a young age. I appreciate all of the hard work and patience, in hindsight. As someone who grew up to be a teacher and now vice principal I look back and appreciate ten fold the hard work and dedication they all put in, because Subhanallah it’s a huge responsibility. Alhamdullilah for the positive impact and wonderful memories I will forever have of my time at the Islamic School of San Diego. Jazakallahu khairan again”
